Delete your Annaachi account

You can ask us to delete your Annaachi account at any time. This page explains how to request deletion and what we do with your data when you do.
How to request deletion
Send a deletion request to purusoth.uae@gmail.com from the phone number's email or from any email you can verify, with:
- The phone number registered with Annaachi (the same one you sign in with).
- A short confirmation that you want your account deleted.
We confirm receipt within 24 hours and complete deletion within 7 working days. If we cannot verify the request matches the account owner, we will write back to you for clarification before deleting anything.
What we delete
- Your phone number, name, and profile information.
- Your last-known location.
- Your device push tokens (Firebase).
- For merchants: your shop name, address, UPI ID, and shop preferences.
What we retain
Some records are retained for the legitimate business needs of the other party in past transactions:
- Order history — orders that were already placed and fulfilled stay in the other party's account view for their bookkeeping. Your name and contact are anonymised to “(deleted user)” on those rows.
- Aggregate analytics — order volumes per area, popular items, and similar non-identifying counters are retained indefinitely. These are never tied back to you.
Retention period for residual records
Anonymised order records are retained for as long as the other party's account is active, or for 7 years (whichever is shorter), to comply with India's standard merchant bookkeeping retention norms.
